Process and electronic engineering
To us at FPM automation means ameliorate the productivity of our customer’s plants and reduce downtimes. Thus our automation systems rise from the real manufacturing situations, to boost innovation of the process of hot forging and cold stamping of metals and with the aim to reach the highest efficiency, quality, repeatability and profitability standards.
The process engineering goes along with the electronic engineering, modern PLC, CNC and softwares programmed internally. This means a guarantee of quick and smooth installation timing, and prompt after sale assistance granted by a unique supplier which includes the electronic part as well.
Automatic systems for loading and unloading billets or forged parts
For our forging machines we develop rotating arm robots, linear arms up to 5 axis, unloading arms for the forged parts, and integrate articulated robots up to 6 axis.
Forging die lubrication systems
We develop automatic die lubrication and graphitisation systems for hot forging of brass, aluminium and steel, both fixed and mounted on rotating or linear arms, completely modular.
Transfer, conveying or movement systems
We develop systems for conveying billets, cooling conveyors, positioning tooling for billet and forged parts manipulation. We also integrate feeding lines for sheet metal coil stamping.
Pre-forming and pre-bending systems for hot forging
We develop automations for hot billet pre-forming, such as rolling or bending, with the aim to save raw material and help the positive outcome of the plastic deformation of the hot forging process.
